Conference Call Bridge Commands
(217) area code USA

Listen to Rebecca give the instructions and tips to improve
the quality of your Conference Call.

ENTERING THE CONFERENCE CALL

1. At the conference time, all participants dial the Conference Dial-In number.

2. At the prompt, enter the PIN Code followed by the # key.

NOTE: Users of digital phones, internet phones like Skype and iPhones, if you have trouble getting into the Bridge; if it seems like you can dial in, but the Bridge doesn't take the PINS, TRY THIS:

Enter the conference call dial-in number as a 'contact' in this way.

2172585590 - then add 2 pauses (see below) - see the keypad instructions on how to add a pause to a phone number....

and then add the pin code and # sign.

So the contact dial-in number looks like this:

2172585590pp12345#

In this way, the phone dials the touch tones all at once... and you should get in first time you try.

Even if you never have a problem with dialing into the Bridge, you may want to add 2 pauses and use this method for convenience.

TWO PAUSES: Since every phone is different, you may have to research online to find out how to "pause" your phone. Go to the website of the maker of your phone and do a search for the model name or number and "pause." I did this for my Blackberry and found the instructions in less than 3 minutes!

Multiple Leaders are allowed. If the participants are first to arrive, they will hear music until the moderator enters.

3. The Bridge closes when the last person hangs up their phone.

NOTE: there is no "PLAYBACK" function for hourly rentals.
